But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But you when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly. But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
After this manner, therefore, pray you: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
Pray you, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest.
Howbeit this kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting.
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation
But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
Then came Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and said unto the disciples, Sit you here, while I go and pray yonder.
Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Think you that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels?
And when Jesus had sent them away, He departed into a mountain to pray.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Take you heed, watch and pray: for you know not when the time is.
And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and Jesus said to His disciples, Sit you here, while I shall pray.
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
Therefore said Jesus unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray you, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His harvest.
And Jesus said unto them, When you pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
And Jesus spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
And when He was at the place, He said unto them, Pray that you enter not into temptation.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son
And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you
At that day you shall ask in My Name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
John 17v 9-10
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which You have given Me; for they are Yours And all mine are thine, and thine are mine, and I am glorified in them.
I pray not that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil.
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
