But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, you shall not tempt the Lord your God.
Then said Jesus unto him, Get you hence, satan: for it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Wherefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come unto you.
But he answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
But Jesus turned, and said unto Peter, Get you behind Me, satan: you are an offence unto Me: for you savour not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.
And he said unto him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you would enter into life, keep the commandments.
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Matthew 21 v 31
Whether of them, twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Jesus said unto him, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
And Jesus said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
And Jesus said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
Mark 7v 8-9
For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do. And He said unto them, Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition.
Making the Word of God of none effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and many such like things do you
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
And if your eye offends you, pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Mark 10 v 14-15
But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
And Jesus said unto him, Why call you Me good? there is none good but One, that is, God.
Mark 10 v 23-25
And Jesus looked round about, and said unto His disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again, and said unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! And Jesus said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
And Jesus lifted up His eyes on His disciples, and said, Blessed, be you poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
Luke 7 v 28-30
For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
And he said, Unto you, it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.
And He answered and said unto them, My mother and My brethren are these which hear the word of God and do it.
Return to your own house, and show how great things God has done unto You. And he went his way and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
And the people, when they knew it, followed Him: and He received them, and spoke unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.
Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go you and preach the kingdom of God.
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be you sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.
And Jesus answering said, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.
But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God has come upon you.
But Jesus said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the Word of God, and keep it.
But woe unto you, Pharisees! for you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Also, I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denies Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
But God said unto him, you fool, this night your soul shall be required of you then whose shall those things be, which you have provided? So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are you better than the fowls?
If then God so clothes the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?
But rather seek you first the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 13 v 28-29
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.
Luke 16 v 15-16
And Jesus said unto them, You are they which justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it.
Luke 17 v 20-21
And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, Jesus answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation:
Luke 18 v 16-17
But Jesus called them unto Him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Luke 18 v 19
And Jesus said unto him, Why call you me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
And He said The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
God is Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
How can you believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only?
John 6 v27-29
Labour not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for Him has God the Father sealed. Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent.
For the bread of God is He which comes down from heaven, and gives life unto the world.
John 6v 45-46
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man, therefore, that has heard and has learned of the Father, comes unto Me. Not that any man has seen the Father, save He which is of God, he has seen the Father.
If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
But now you seek to kill Me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. You do the deeds of your father. Then said they to Him, we be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, you would love Me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but He sent Me.
He that is of God hears God’s words: you, therefore, hear them not, because you are not of God.
John 10 v 35-36
If He called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say you of Him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, you blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands and that He was come from God and went to God;
Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me
And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.
Jesus said unto her, Touch Me not; for I am not yet ascended to My Father: but go to My brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father, and your Father; and to My God, and your God.
