In faith, there has to be in the spirit of man a perseverance, a persistence in laying hold of the Word of Almighty God. The Word of God must be received, must be believed and embraced; the Word of God must be retained in the heart of man.
Having faith in the Father is taking Jesus Christ at His Word, and being undaunted by anything contrary by sight, hearing or experience. Circumstances arrayed around you must be discerned by the will of the Father, trials of faith are not tests from Almighty God, but are challenges from the adversary of your soul.
Faith in Jesus Christ is to be fully persuaded in His willingness and ability to perform His will in your life.
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Mark 11 v 22 -24.
